Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
GamerCalc (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at https://gamercalc.com. We provide free value-list and trading calculators for popular online games.
For any privacy-related enquiry, please contact us at privacy@gamercalc.com.
2. Data we collect
We do not collect personal data directly. The following third-party services may collect data as described:
- Google Analytics 4 — collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, approximate location at country level) to help us understand how the site is used and improve it. A persistent cookie (
_ga) is set only after you consent. - Google AdSense — may set cookies to show you relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. Ad personalisation is disabled site-wide; we serve non-personalised ads only. Advertising cookies are set only after you consent.
- Server logs — our hosting provider may log your IP address and browser user-agent for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are retained for up to 30 days and are not shared with third parties.
3. Legal basis for processing (EEA / UK users)
We rely on the following legal bases under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6).
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — server-side security logging. Our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and ensuring uptime outweighs any privacy impact given the limited nature of the data and the short retention period.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before you respond to our cookie banner, all advertising and analytics signals are denied by default — no advertising cookies are set, and no personal data is sent to Google Analytics. Once you accept cookies, those signals are updated accordingly.
When advertising cookies are denied, Google may still use cookieless pings and URL-based measurement (conversion modelling) to estimate aggregate ad performance. No identifiable data is shared in this mode.
5. Data sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data collected by Google Analytics and Google AdSense is processed by Google LLC, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of protection for transfers to the United States.
You can review Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Your rights (EEA / UK)
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@gamercalc.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Managing your cookie preferences
You can withdraw or update your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. This opens the same preference centre that appeared when you first visited.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage interest-based advertising at My Ad Center.
8. Children’s privacy
The games covered by this site (Roblox, Adopt Me, etc.) have a significant audience under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not require an account or any personal information to use the calculators.
In recognition of that audience we treat this site as directed to children under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Advertising personalisation and Google’s ad-user-data signals are disabled site-wide and unconditionally — not only in regulated regions and not subject to consent — so no behavioural advertising profile is built from your use of this site. Google Analytics is likewise configured with Google Signals and ad personalisation switched off.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by displaying a new consent prompt.
